Smoked Apple Pie Cream Cheese
If you haven’t smoked a block of Cream Cheese before, what are you waiting for?! It makes for an amazing base for any type of dip, including a dessert dip like this! Super simple to make, and all you really need is time to smoke for a few hours.
Now, I have gotten hate in my video for this dish for not making my own Apple Pie Filling, but to me the canned stuff works fanastic. I want to make recipes that anyone can feel like they can make, and enjoy!
This is a great holiday treat, but this can be made at any time of year, it’s that good.
Ingredients:
1 Block (8 oz) Cream Cheese
1 Can (21 oz) of Apple Pie Filling
Cinnamon Sugar (I used McCormicks or you can combine your own)
6-8 Ritz Crackers, Crushed
Caramel Sauce
Graham Crackers (for Serving)
Directions:
Place the Block of Cream Cheese in a small Aluminum Pan, and Score to the top of the Cream Cheese (These score marks will open up as it gets smoked). Season the block heavily in Cinnamon Sugar.
Place on the Blackstone Pellet Smoker at 225°, and let it smoke for about 1.5-2 hours.
Pull from the Smoker, and then Cover with the Apple Pie Filling, the Crushed Ritz Crackers and Drizzle Caramel Sauce all over the Top.
Back on to the Smoker until heated through (15-20) Minutes. Pull, and Serve with Graham Crackers.
